After receiving two degrees from the University of Phoenix — a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner — Tyisha attended Maryville University of Saint Louis in Missouri, where she earned her post-masters certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP).

Since then, Tyisha has worked as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner in several settings, gaining exceptional experience before opening her private practice. 

She enjoys working with diverse people from different cultures and specializes in helping people of color, giving them a safe space to focus on improving their mental health. 

Tyisha is known for listening closely to each person’s concerns and providing collaborative and holistic care. She considers the many aspects of life affecting a person’s emotional and behavioral well-being and works with each patient to create therapeutic goals.
